Fishing |

Wildlife
is another speciality of ours - we can number some 70
species of birds spotted and listed recently by an
interested guest, along with badgers, deer
and otters, which have recently returned to the
River Tweed. |

|
West
Ord has its own mile of single bank fishing for salmon,
seatrout and grilse. We make a good base
for trying out other fisheries in the area; they can be
contacted through
Fish Tweed. We have a large deep freeze and can arrange
to have fish smoked and posted on to clients. |

8 minutes drive from the farm |
| Berwick-upon-Tweed
has a good selection of supermarkets, shops, pubs and
restaurants as well as a sports centre and swimming complex,
cinema and arts centre. There are also a number of good
country pubs serving food within easy reach of the farm. |

A
10-minute drive takes you to some of the most beautiful
stretches of sandy Northumbrian beach. The
Holy Island of Lindisfarne, the Cheviot Hills
and Northumberland
National Park, and the Scottish Border countryside
are all within easy reach. Edinburgh and Newcastle are
just over an hour's drive (or 50 minutes on the train
from Berwick). |
